One of the most important factors in designing an custom engine is that we must emphasize power and torque within the RPM band where the engine will spend a majority of the time.
So will this engine be for a weekend warrior, drag racer, street performance racer, or basic street performance as an everyday driver? All these factors matter along with budgetary parameters and your application may be somewhat complex. Rebuilding an engine can be a very rewarding experience, working with us and designing the engine for your car. When you work with us you will become familiar with what your engine is. Remember that it's important not to "overbuild" and to save as much money as possible. A common fault of many other engine builders is their inability to analyze their customers needs. This produces an expensive engine with exotic parts that will never be needed for the application and in turn can disappoint the customer and create buyers remorse.

Machine Shop Services
Your used block will go through our entire machine shop process to ensure it meets the highest specifications. We start off with a hot tank cleaning service to bring it back to factory clean and then inspect it for any cracks. The block is then bored and plate honed using a torque plate. Final clearances are checked and the block goes through a final cleaning to make sure there is no debris left over from the machining process.

The Mazda MZR engine relys on 3 friction washers between the crank pulley and sprockets to help keep the motor in time. This works very well for stock power levels and even mild big turbo setups. Once you reach the 500whp mark, slipping timing can become a problem. This can lead to catestrophic engine failure amounting to thousands of dollars in repairs. We have developed a square keyway which locks the crank pulley and sprockets from slipping on the crankshaft and eliminates the need to replace the friction washers and crank bolt every time it is loosened.

All long blocks have a fixed shipping price of $420, short blocks is $300. Price is to the contiguous USA only.

So when come to closing if you have the extra money I would chose this option you get so much more and is well worth it motor crank right up on first try no issues so far oil pressure sit anywhere for 20psi at idle to 60 to 70 during driving car feel good I'm not looking to make that much power but if I want to in the future I don't have to pull motor apart only do upgrades good luck
