The Ford Ecoboost engine relys on 2 friction washers between the crank pulley and sprocket to help keep the motor in time. This works very well for stock power levels and even mild big turbo setups. Once you reach the 400whp mark, slipping timing can become a problem. This can lead to catestrophic engine failure amounting to thousands of dollars in repairs. We have developed a square keyway which locks the crank pulley and sprockets from slipping on the crankshaft and eliminates the need to replace the friction washers and crank bolt every time it is loosened. You also have the option of having us balance the crank and micropolish the journal surfaces. Please select the core charge option for new pulleys and sprockets if you dont plan on sending us your crank pulley and both crank sprockets. You also have the option of buying a brand new OEM crank, crank pulley, and crank sprockets if you would like as well.
NOTE: This service takes 2-3 weeks to get done after we receive your crank.

I was recommended to key my crank, pulley and sprocket by my tuner and mechanic. I couldn't find anyone around my area that would do this service or even worked on the focus ST internals. I found this place after some research and sent them off for this service. After all three were returned it turned out to be a great job and will do nicely. I recommend this service to anyone that plans to "beef up" your ST and start doing internal stuff. I talked with Pablo many times and is always willing to help out, thanks Pablo and fellow employees.
